About the event
Welcome to Dinars, Dirham and Dollars!
San Francisco is filled with entrepreneurs and innovators from the Middle East and North Africa. Even if you weren't born abroad, still feel free to come. There will be light refreshments, but you're welcome to bring wine or something more substantive to eat.
Building personal and business relationships across the region is about more than reaching new markets; it's about reaching new paradigms and sharing new ways of living. We can all learn the lessons of the MENA region. From the rugged chaos of Cairo streets to the tech mega scene of Tel Aviv, a rich history and joie de vivre permeates everything. Injecting this much needed passion back into San Francisco and Silicon Valley is more than an opportunity, it's a privilege.
The engagement will take place in the Shakespeare Garden in Golden Gate Park. It's secluded and private which means it can be a bit tricky to find. I urge you to bring blankets for sitting on as well as drinks/snacks. We'll start with a brief introduction at 2 PM and get into a friendly discussion shortly afterward. You're welcome to bring well behaved pets, friends and significant others.
Please be curtious to others in speech and distancing. For questions, reach out to Ari@AriZahav.com.
All the best,
